“Kaleidoscope Dreams” by Mike Sorgatz at Figureworks Gallery
Mike Sorgatz's solo show of his paintings from the past year depicting figures in abstracted space. These works combine vibrant color with an assortment of painting techniques to create highly textured and dynamic surfaces. There’s a wide variety of subjects in the paintings,from mythological creatures and legendary quests to urban landscapes. All of these influences reflect off one another and recombine, forming a kaleidoscopic display. Exhibition will run June 8th - July 29th.
